Hi all. Just registered here as as I stumbled across loads of very useful content whilst I am on the hunt for my first Land Rover. I am based in Derby.

I’m looking for a RR classic as my first Land Rover. One with a vertical grill so up to around 1985 I believe as I love the original styling.

When I find one I’ll get some photos up as currently just finishing its home (a shed I’ve converted into a garage - the wife isn’t happy at all).

I had an RRC, a 1977 two door V8. It must have been a Friday afternoon car, I sold it after less than six months. It nearly bankrupted me and tested my dedication to the green oval! But don’t tell your wife that...

A football supporter's rattle - I remember them from my youth in Sheffield (Wednesday).
They were originally World War 1 gas alarms in the trenches...
Everyone standing on the Kop at a home game had them - what a noise when the Owls netted one..
