Hi All,

Thinking of changing the front seats in my Defender for a pair of Smart Car seats.

Question is, does it matter if the seats come from the first generation (450) or the second generation (451) Smart Car? Can't see it making much of a difference but thought i'd ask.
 
I’ve never heard of smart car seats being installed in a Landy, but that’s not to say it can’t be done. Have you google’d the question? A popular and straightforward seat upgrade is to fit Mazda RX8 seats. There’s an excellent guide on here...

Yes, i've checked, i actually got the idea from here, think a few people have done it and it's an easier swap than the rx8. However i do prefer the look of the rx8 seats, will have a browse and see how difficult they are to fit.
