Get Stabilus ones, they are OE.
I paid £27.50 for the pair back in 2018 from N4S Motors who sell on eBay.

Thanks for that, screeching finally got me down and I replaced them on e-bay from ‘parts in motion’. £28.06 as you recommended ‘stabilus’ originals.

No problem, I've just got some for the tailgate of my 'new' FL2 which are past their best which has been highlighted in the colder weather.
The garage I got it from replaced the bonnet ones with Stabilus units before I picked it up.
