Hi friends,

I have a 1986 Land Rover Tithonus that I’m kitting out as a communications vehicle using military radios. I am trying to figure out how exactly to mount a COMROD antenna base that I acquired. I thought if a picture paints a thousand words, a video paints 10,000 so here goes:

If anyone has details on how these 3/6 hole, surface mount style antennas mount onto the ATU “plinths,” I would be very grateful.

Thanks

I know I'm coming to this very late, but I'm curious why you're mounting Bowman antenna on it when it looks like it's only had Clansman in its service life.
If you really want to Bowman look, make sure you leave a Nokia 3310 on the dash ;)
If you've not mounted it yet, have you thought of sticking a candlestick mount on the side? I believe the holes would line up perfectly and you wouldn't need a plate like for the plinths.
