Hi, I have an 05 L322 TD6, recently I had the belts and tensioner replaced due to noisy when cold, but now it has developed a coolant leak and I suspect the water pump as its twittering away until it warms up. Is there a set of instructions as how to get to the pump to check it out. I can see nothing from above or below with covers removed. Thanks for any replies.

All detailed In RAVE which is a free download I think from the technical archive.

Of course , because it is detailed in RAVE does not mean it is comprehensible or achievable. For example, it says in RAVE that to remove the fan on a P38 you use a 32mm spanner and hit it with a hammer in the reverse thread direction and it will come loose. Bollocks. You have to saw it off to get to the water pump! I don’t know where the water pump is on an L322 - though i’ve owned one for 5 years - but i bet it’s hard to get to!
