New here be gentle.....got my self a doo er upper d3. Bought with faults but its a thing with me lol.
Anyhoo 1 of the faults is the epb ( not another one they all shout ) after lots of searching i think I have come to the conclusion it has never been registered / coded.....or whatever the damn word is to the vehicle !
The bloke I got it off said it had a new epb module on and worked
After crawling around under it I can confirm it looks new ( or recon ) and has deffo been put on there very recently.
The reason I have come to the conclusion is all the wiring checks out and on reader the 2 things ( apart from other modules not getting right signal from it ) the clutch sensor ( its a manual ) comes up na and an accelerometer sensor comes up as wrong signal ( or something like that )
I believe both these are calibrated during initialisation ( thats the word lol )
Is this plausible ? Or am I wistfully thinking lol. Also an incompatible software issue popped up, might be linked
