I'm in the 'it costs just as much to keep the top half of the tank full as it does the bottom' as I don't want to risk running out in the middle of nowhere.

Son hasn't sorted it yet as he's waiting to get paid, the car is very new to him so not used to the gauge showing fuel and the light coming on and then running out more or less straight away
