Hi all,
I've decided to sell my 1988 land rover 90. I've owned it for 15 years and rebuilt it about 10 years ago.
It has-
Marsland galvanised chassis
Remanufactured 300tdi long engine from a+b land rovers in york( only done about 3000 miles)
Disco 1 r380 gearbox and transfer box
New hybrid turbo (only 100 miles on this)
Rebuilt injector pump
Full stainless steel side exit exhaust
Full width intercooler
Disc brake rear axle with dislocation cones
When I rebuilt it I renewed all the brake lines, calipers discs, pads and master cylinder
Replaced all the bushes for polybushes (except panhard rod which are standard)
5 alloy wheels with bfg 265/65/16 km2 tyres all with lots of tread (spare never been used)
Replaced the halfshafts, cv's and both swivels on the front axle
Stainless steel raised air intake
Aluminum dash board
Aluminum storage box in back
Two batteries (not linked together, was going to fit a split charge of some kind but never got round to it)
Aluminium drop down tailgate and lift up lid (original door included)
Terrafirma shocks all round
Bad bits are
Both outer door skins are pitted (the inner frames have been repaired)
Paint let's it down as it has faded
Difflock light has stopped working (Difflock does work reckon it's the switch on transfer box)
Was used as my daily drive and has never let me down since I rebuilt it.
Only been used once since last mot and that was just to get my brothers stuck 110 out a ditch.
Mot due in December (passed last mot with no advisories.
Reluctant to sell but doesn't get used so rather someone else enjoy it.
Will get some pictures up when I can
Vehicle located in Southampton area
£9000 (if I get full price I will put a new mot on it)
