Having freshly galvanized the original chassis do I paint it black or leave it as it is ?

Work started on the rear tub! Needs a new floor and inner wheel arches, all galv bits removed for blasting and re galv.

All the remaining galv items have been sand blasted repaired and sent to galvanisers should be back today !

Only disappointment with the galv is that the anti rattle closers for the rear door melted away ! They must have been made from poor quality casting but all is not lost will gring and drill them out and get new bolt on ones.
 
Rear tail gate and seat box prepared and ready for top coat of blue.

A productive day in the cave, installed the new wiring looms (autosparks) with the help of google images for cable routes !

This is what I did yesterday. DA’d the bonnet inside and out ready for fetteling a few dents with some hammering and filler, to be honest its in pretty good nick.

Seat sliding rails have been sand blasted, and primed. Any idea what finish they should be ? Seen some people spraying them silver / chrome but when I blasted them I noticed some black paint / powder coating ? Should they be black ? Any advice would be greatly received

was that a sanding disc to remove bonnet paint or some type of scrubber disc, sorted it nicely

the seat runners are glossy black , spray rather than heavy brush
