Am I being daft getting a freelander?

Not daft at all.
I'm looking for another FL1 facelift myself, although in 3 door this time.
Me and the wife fancy building a weekend toy, with lifted suspension and big tyres.

Yes, but that is the problem right there.....
The more I look at it the more I fancy building a weekend top, with lifted suspension and big typres :D
The problem being that it will then not really be a family car, so I need something else to replace my bmw.

Why is this a problem? Well, we already have 3 vehicles between two people. Oh, and I am planning on getting another van so that would make 4. So a fifth might be seen as a bit much
I have pointed out that we have space on the drive for at least 6 vehicles but apparently that is not the point :p
I have also pointed out that I would get rid of the first van after I get the 2nd, along with the bmw of course. But for some reason my wife did not believe me!

So, at the moment, my head says get a rav4 but my heart says a freelander.

Seem to remember a while back @fredi250 helped out a stranded 1.8 Freelander that had HGF on the motorway by him in Spain. They were trying to get back to Blighty. Think they put a bottle of radweld in it or summat and it got them home.
Still got the daughters TD4 2 door in the lock up
