Recommendations for new clutch

I’m thinking of upgrading my 92’ 200tdi Defenders transfer box with an exchange 1:2 ratio unit from Ashcroft as most of the mileage I’m now doing involves a 140 mile round trip to Anglesey! The old ones leaking badly so needs taking out to look at anyway. At the same time I’ll change the clutch as it’s the original that’s now done 235000 miles!
Question:
What clutch components do people recommend?
I’ve read a few horror stories about cheap clutches failing after a few thousand miles & doing an online search there’s a huge variation in price.

Fit a Valeo 130 HD clutch with HD clutch fork. Check the state of the pivot as if that’s original is bank on it being pretty worn. New pressure plate obviously. At that mileage worth a quick check the fly wheel face is flat. Probably do the rear crank seal at the same time

I fitted the nylon Bush to the clutch fork from britanica restorations, was quit impressed with that.

Valeo 130HD was what I fitted a few years back. Strengthened clutch pedal fork thing also. Change the brass sintered bush thing (can’t remember what that’s called either!) aswell

For the cost of them I would consider this to be a replaceable part just like the clutch fork and the spigot bush. I would echo the above about a valeo 130 clutch plate, valeo cover, and HD fork. I have done my clutch a couple of times, but only once has been a clutch failure, all of the others have been the same as above while the gearbox is out, you might as well.

Clutchfix or Valeo HD

As above - SWMBO's D1 got a Valeo put in 15K ago, HD fork etc - no issues ....

The first time I changed my Ninety's clutch the pivot was worn to a point, no wonder the fork was punched through. In 2018 at second change I had another ready but did not need it, still round and smooth. Whatever, do check it.

Clutchfix, LOF or if you’re on real budget then Valeo. But the Valeo HD ones aren’t very heavy duty, not sure what they change to get away with calling them heavy duty.
