Hello all,
The temp gauge has stopped working on my 99 Thor 4.6. I cannot see the sensor-the only one I can see has a black connector with 4 wires coming out of it-ECU temp sensor? Any advice on the position of the sensor and where to get one would be greatly appreciated.
 
Many thanks again! Ordered a new one. Car is looking and driving good! This was the only issue-I've got to take it back for a check over in a month to sort out any niggles-but I'll change this.


The clear indicators were on it to show another customer-they have been replaced with the originals.

Think clear indicators went on in '99.

Down to personal preference, I guess. Maybe the car colour makes a difference. A previous owner must have put clear on my '95 but they look good on a red car. Orange goes well with the darker colours.

I've got a full set of upgraded lights in the garage,all boxed up @Enthusiastman wanted to buy them but I wouldn't sell them to him until he bought a P38 otherwise he would have been left with them, good job eh! I've debated whether to fit them.;)​

Thanks all-got a new sensor-access is difficult to say the least! Any tips on how to get the old one out?

Alan was mis-remembering this thread this morning. While sorting the garage with his son he came across the boxed light sets again, had a feeling he had had a discussion with @Enthusiastman about selling them but couldn't remember the details. So he may be looking for a home for them again as he tries to sort his stuff out now.
