What have you done on your 90/110/130 today?

In my experience, the tetrasyl schutz stuff causes more problems than it cures. It dries and allows moisture behind it, which causes rust to take hold unseen.

Put rear glass in the door... never ever ever again ! If it ever breaks I will be having a solid door !

Did you use the string and fairy liquid method or are they just an absolute pain to fit period ?

I did try the string method to be honest it was probs mostly user error the string snapped... ended up with a flat head screw driver and window tool. Once you get it started and figure it out soon comes together. A lot easier with a helping hand !

Strapped in a spanking new 110Ah 664 Battery from Tayna (excellent service as usual) got more thrutch to kick the old pig into life now.

Now on the last Safari Door hinge refurb, took an hour to get the cursed thing out….

Used this spec/brand in my last Two Landies - a 200tdi and a Td5, can’t fault them and fit with space to spare…

My rear door hasn't got the rubber. It's just bedded in and held with aly angles. Easiest of the lot.

I had the 2 part door before and I was going to put the glass in but turned out to be passed its best. The newer one was available local so reason went down that route... next time I probs get the aly strip one!

So a new day to tackle Defender 90 problems
Ive got my new 3 switch metal blanking plate to replace the broken plastic surround, the one that fits over the hazard light,rear window demister etc.
Im currently trying to figure out why my handbrake warning light doesn't illuminate on the dash, its never worked since I got it, Ive pulled the handbrake boot off and the spade connector is firmly in place on the handbrake base, it looks as thought the wire runs under the drive seat box - is there another block in there its connected too?

Edit* Just pulled on the cable on the other end isnt connected to anything lol! Where should I be looked to reconnect it

Fitted an original aluminium oval LR plaque to the rear of the Ninety; IMO far nicer than the black decal that was there before.
I've had it on my bookshelf for years but thought it would be better on the Landy.

Looks good! I’ve got one in my toolbox for the 90...

It’s definitely magic. It had this strange and unexplainable ability to take your money and turn it into shiny metal objects that turn up in the post...

Working on the load bay interior today getting ready for the new seats to go in. New carpet, got a big mat to go in, speakers and amp, a few other bits and bobs to do.
