I've taken the head off of my 200 to replace the head gasket. Whilst I was cleaning it to put back on I noticed that there's some pitting on the head mainly in the little triangle bits in the middle but also some near the edge.
Do I need to get it skimmed or is the head scrap even?
Thanks

as long as it doesn't cross the gasket's sealing area then don't worry;)

Rich.

What he said. Give it a real good clean and as long as the areas the gasket sits on are smooth it’ll be fine.
Those little triangle areas always erode
