Another dry and clear start to the day.

I'm off out this afternoon providing support to another local walking race where about 1400 people walk around me Island visiting each parish church. I think it's about 85 miles in total but thankfully I'm just covering a small section of the 'course' and I'll be in a Fender 110 again.

my trailer is full of laurel, trashed my light board last week an ive got delivery of spanky noo
magnetic led jobs.

Not sure what else to do or rather im not sure which jobs to start with.

The house efficiency check fing... I can see why some fink its a scam burrit was created to make the buyer more informed. Most houses have modern heating and insulation but there is some that dun't. Same for windows. Some houses lose heat too quickly because they haven't got these and not all buyers would spot them. Like single glazing which would cost many 1000's of sovs to replace. Or many hundreds more per year to heat. A costly dilemma for the owner.

Blow tests... They do thems on new houses to make sure they is built right. Same wiv water pressure tests ont pipes.

The chap said to me, even though we have double glazing and a new boiler/radiators, we could not get better that 75 - grade C. This is because they have set the costs to age of house and not reality. My bills are far lower than the report suggests. Therefore it is misrepresentation, ergo, a way of making you pay for something that is in reality worthless. What is your definition of a scam?

Buying a tratter.

Yer energy costs are too variable to compare. If yer a wimmins then yer will probably want the heating turned up higher. If yer house has a lot of peeps living innit them theres will be more baths/showers had (not including northern fekers). If yer like me feinds mrs then yer'll leave a windows open to cool yer house when the heatings warmed it up too much. So difficult to compare bills from different users. Eye would be happy to put a jumper on instead of the hearing up.

Hence why they consider the building instead, then take an estimate. My cassul doesn't have a cavity wall. It does have a sort of gap between two rows of bricks that isn't present all along the wall. So a part cavity sort of but not the full 70mm or similar of a cavity wall build. Thems wiv a cavity should be cheaper to heat on average. If yer heating method is poor then bills go up. Yer may have loft insulation but if not fitted correctly or not 10 inch deep, then its below recommendation. The choice of light like halogen can but more eggspensive to run. Having thems fitted would indicate higher bills.

New builds are the only houses that get near full marks.

I intend to provide the prospective purchaser with several years worth of annual energy statements that say how many kWh of Gas & Electricity are used to stay comfy in "Clarke Towers". That is MORE valuable and informative than any pseudo-survey/assessment that really means naff-all.

Tis a good idea to do. I have come across others that offer their yearly statements at the time if sale. When eye were buying me cassul eye asked around what peeps spent at wuk and few would say. As if it were too private a question to answer.

Here is a real world example, when there were 4 of us living here last year, the combined bill per month was £96. My parents bungalow has a better energy rating but because they are remote and use bottled gas, they spend £186 a month on combined!

It’s been sunshine all the way for ages. I get the bbq out and we have two days of summer in Myanmar

This stretch of road is a notorious accident spot due to bad parking ... and now the café is a drive thru ...
