Well we have 3 pooters on at the mo! (get us)!
Wifey is watching the local live auction as we have a few commission bids in, I have it too but playing the sound, while I chat with you guys and gals.
Weather fine, squiggle still digging up Wifey's plants so she is doing all sorts to dissuade it. Putting cloches, pegged down, over some spreading dead holly leaves around, which helps and today he suddenly appeared after us not having seen him for a while. I had a pot at him but he was bobbing up and down so I couldn't get a clear head shot. He sprinted off so I must have hit him, but sadly he ain't dead. I don't like doing that.:(:(:(:(:(
Anyway, I have a bid in on a load of mixed cameras and a pair of WW1 Bausch and Lomb binoculars. Wifey just told me that cos Willie's wife uses Canon digital cameras, the one (just a body, but the rest of the kit is still in the box) may well shove the price above my bid.:mad::mad::mad:
Coming up in 6 lots!
We'll see!

Yippeee!!!!!!
Got it for £40!
You should see the feck off enormous long lens that was in there.
As I already have some spare lenses they will fit the Canon 350D!!! (Course they will, mine is a 350D, not a 250D, duh!)
And the Binos are soooooo lovely.
And the other lot didn't go so I'll pop in, pick up my lot and get the other one prolly for £20, that one had some really nice old stuff in it, like some of the oldest movie cameras you've ever seen!!
I is a happy chap!:):):):)

A good result there Stan!

Once I get it home, (Monday), I'll lay it all out and take a pic! the box was rammed!
Wifey also managed to get a whole load of jewellery, the she rang up in a break and got another lot. This really is one of her hobbies, so she is having fun!!! Bless her!!
So I have just rung up and put in a bid for a boxed, as new, Tilley lamp with a load of spares, including a glass and another one, barely used.
Crossed fingers!

"Brown " furniture is not selling at all.
A beautiful, Georgian style extending dining table and chairs didn't go, even at £20!!!!!!
Mad!:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:
But model railway stuff went at insane money.
Our bloody pine magazine rack didn't go, again!:mad::mad:
I couldn't even give away our oak dining table with 8 chairs. Sadly I cut up the top and legs for wood turning projects and the chairs went to the tip :(

It makes you sick doesn't it, but then again, last auction we sold 4 pine chairs for £85. Nothing fancy, no carvers but admittedly unworn.
Just saw a "white" bedroom suite go for £150.
The thing to do it seems, is to buy the brown stuff cheap like this, then sand it a bit paint it white make it "shabby chic" and then suddenly they sell. See it all the time on "Find it, fix it, flog it" and that other one, "money for nothing".
Peeps are daft, they could do it easily themselves!:rolleyes::rolleyes:

I put it on freecycle and got silly people asking me to post it :( I asked the local charity place if they wanted it now they are open again but they didn't as it is too big.
We tried to give some electrical goods to them but they can't get them PAT tested at present so didn't want them either.
It will all end up in the tip as I cannot be doing with time wasters or the like.

It's a shame. Old oak stuff goes well, but mahogany don't go anywhere. And interwar, postwar oak stuff don't go.
we've decided we are taking our pine corner cabinet, sanding it, painting it white and putting it in like that!

Oh and got the Tilley lamps for £35, result!:D:D:D:D
