Hi there,

Had my first Defender for a few years and frequently get directed from online searches to this forum so thought it was time I joined so I can ask the experts!

It's a 2008 and I'd be really grateful if someone knows what it's height is? I've Googled extensively but can't seem to get a definite answer.

Where I live we have car park height limits of 2m so I've avoided them for the last few years but we're going on holiday soon and airport parking has the same limit. Can't avoid that one unfortunately so would like to know in advance before I make a hugely embarrassing (not to mention potentially hugely disruptive) mistake!

Thank you. Believe me, I have tried with the tape measure! Got about 10 different readings...

I've also found this https://www.allcarcentral.com/Land_Rover-pdf/Land Rover_Defender_2008_UK-dimensions.pdf

It gives the same height as your link of 2021mm; but specifies 2021mm with 750/235 tyres or 1968mm with 205 tyres.

I once got into a car park claiming to be 2m when no one was about; aiming to quietly reverse if I felt resistance. My hubby also guided me under one of those dangly things saying 2m at the entrance to a 'Meet & Greet'. It was a close one but doable. No Meet & Greet available this year hence my concern as its the multi-story and states 2m.

Time to inspect my tyres and hope they're 205 - whatever that means!

It’s the size of the tyre and will be on the sidewall of the tyre:) hope you see what you need:)
