Disco 2 Front bumper swap

Hello all,
I managed to get hold of a really tidy front bumper for my Td5 after damaging the original,
Haven’t swapped them yet and was just wondering if anyone has any advice about doing this.
My main concern was the flexible (I suppose you would call them) arch liners that are screwed at the bottom of each side. Someone seems to have just cut them about 8 inches from the screws , so I can imagine they are going to be tough to undo.

They are tough so i cut them off. You can replace with bolts.

Wouldn't let them work on my vehicle, bloody nut gun on a bumper, would help if they could get the socket square on the nut ! If you have the fog lamps fitted they have two breather tubes on each lamp that need disconnecting + the wiring & the headlamp washer system tubes again if fitted need disconnecting.

Many thanks for your replies, my one is a face lift model , the crash can nuts look the same as do the bolts on the rubber mountings on each side only those splash guards on mine have screws that look like they are going to be trouble to get undone would it be best to drill them out or grind the heads off ? I can’t see behind them so I don’t know if they screwed in to speed clips or the bumper it’s self

Hi, mines a pre f/l but the two outer ones are screwed in to speed clips so if you have to drill them do a bit at a time moving from one to the other because the plastic arch liner will melt with the heat & you'll have nowhere to put your new speed clip the other is on that flimsy metal bracket, see pic. Even if the face lift is different the same applies to drilling the fittings into plastic. I used a Stanley knife blade to clean the heads of the screws & plenty of easing fluid & luckily mine came out fine, best of luck.
