HELP, I have an electrical problem and I am at a loss. I have had the fuse box out and there are no burnt or blackend contacts either side. I have no power to the Hevac panel and cannot find which wire should power the panel. also the lights indicating the suspension position are not lit, although the suspension is still working. If anyone can give me advice, I would be ever gratefiul.Or if anyone could come and fix my problem I would willingly pay . Thanks.

Not cast in stone but I think the hevac power is spliced from the OBD plug power feed so check if you have power at pin 16 ,if not from memory it's a brown wire that passes through the bulkhead and comes out in the loom under the expansion tank.

These cars an electrical nightmare I’ve got the auto electrician coming back again next wkend unless I find my problems tomorrow good luck with yours

Check the footwell connectors behind the kick panels.

Very common for them to turn green and cause issues like these.

A good idea to cut and solder them anyway.

Thanks, I am trying to understand the wiring diagrams and pin outs. It may be that the hevac unit has just failed . I will keep everyone posted. thanks again

zebra strip ok? if you are missing power to the EAS switch - are all your interior lights out? C244 - middle connector at the back of the HEVAC carries the 12v power feeds check c244- 2 (ignition 2) and c244-6 (interior lights feed), also ignition I (C244-1)

Short update, after much buggering about and wire testing ,I have come to the conclusion that the feed wire from fusebox to OBD socket is broken somewhere around the heater. I have now installed a new feed and the socket is now working. 1 problem down and 2 to go. The interior lights are working but the switch illumination is not ,I think that plug c244 may be the culprit but I think that mabe now I have comms with the HEVAC , I may be able to understand better what is happening. Tomcat59, I may take you upon a loan of your HEVAC to see if mine is duff, I will check the number tomorrow Thanks

Hi I have reached the end of my skill set with this problem, My problem is that the BECM talks to the HEVAC and the HEVAC talks to the suspension So either the HEVAC is buggered or the BECM is. the number of functions that are initiated through the HEVAC is amazing. I forgot to get the no of the HEVAC unit but I will tomorrow and would like to borrow your spare HEVAC for a day if thats ok. Thank you

What really irritates me is, I have contacted 6 or 7 Auto electricians, explained my problem and you never hear from them again. So called " Skilled" . If its not changing a bulb or fitting a reversing camera ,they cant do it
