Discovery 300tdi Brake upgrade

I would like to upgrade my front brakes from solid discs to vented discs, I am guessing all I need is RTC6776/6777 calipers and vented discs. Is this a straight swap or is there any issues that I may run into.

You want calipers from a 110 94-> with vented discs as the have bigger pistons ----bigger pistons = better brakes

Id guess yes....the discs are the same dia. I have them on mine with 16s and nothing is close to touching a wheel.

And a decent set of pads....not some £6 a set carboard pads....but no need to go over the top either.

I’ve always run EBC green stuff on most cars I’ve had so it will be along those lines, thanks for your help

Did this to mine a good while ago, probably 8-10 years ago.

Do a search as I put up all the part numbers etc that you need for the conversion.

I did mine a few weeks ago using disco vented disks and 110 calipers.

Front caliper left SEB500470
Front caliper right SEB500460
Disks front FTC902

I thought V8s came with them as standard.?
I know my 300tdi Anniversary had them when I got it, but that might only have been because it is an Anniversary.

I thaught the same but apparently not, only early ones and they had dual lines and flexy pipes to each front caliper

Looks the business, I found StuRox list of parts and yes same calipers and discs so thanks. Did you have to change the calipers steel brake pipe to 110 pipes or do the disco ones still fit?

Error !

I extended my brake lines with braided hoses when I changed mine as I was in the process of a 2inch lift

Here you go, found a pic of mine

Took a few weeks to get round to it but very happy with them
