Loud “clunk” coming from front

Hello all,
I’m in need of some help / advice with my 1999 td5.
So basically been on the road for about a month now and loving life with it l. Then about 4 days ago I got a loud banging / clunking noise when on full lock left hand down. Like the driveshaft was locking up or the cv joint was on its way out. Took to garage and they told me it was driveshaft and cv joint. Have changed that side that I thought it was plus where it was coming from and it’s still doing it not as loud but still there. Changed the other side hub, cv joint and driveshaft and she still does it.
I haven’t changed the oil yet in the diff that’s my next thing to do. Would a lack of oil in the diff cause it to start clunking. Or is the diff on its way out?
Legit a newbie to land rovers and I’m not very mechanically minded you got any ideas what it could be
It seems to be that the more I spend fixing the Land Rover the more things are going wrong it it.
any advice would be great

1/ check/do the oil in the diff
2/ take the prop shaft off and check it out thoroughly.

Sounds like the diff may be damaged, drop oil and check for lumps first. Can you feel it pull against you before the clunk?

If the garage failed to fix the problem, take it back!

Just wondering if the nut holding the pinion in has come loose.
Happened to me on my D1 rear axle. Was a beggar to get to but once tightened up problem went away with no cost to me.
Similar symptoms. And oil was clear with no lumps or bits and bobs in.

Get the feeling he just took it there for diagnosis, but I may be wrong, in which case, yeah, go back there with a few big mates!
