Clunking when putting auto into reverse and drive gears

Hi everyone, brand new on here and hope for some advise
We have a tray back with a 3.9 V8 auto in it and whenever we select reverse or drive gear it clunks going into it

driving is totally fine, just this big clunk every time we enter either D or R gears

does anyone know what this could be?

My RR and now the D1 transfer box clonks when selecting reverse, both vehicles purchased new, so thats 34 years so far of clonking which I understand disappeared when the later models were fitted with a different transfer box, But I would be concerned if it was happening when selecting D.
