Think 2 are aluminium cased Bosch with the details on the top & the other is red plastic.
Again, I think the metal case ones are readily available (possibly AGU1068) but the red one (if it's DAC1861) might be a bit problematic.

Hi Yes it's the red one, somehow the fuel pump relay had got water in it and was a ball of rust inside must have shorted out and blown the diode pack and the fusible resistor, I've found replacements on line so will be doing some fidly soldering once they arrive, deep joy!
I stole a manual for 25 quid plus postage so 33.50 all together!

One of the articles he tried several Range Rover 4CU ecus in his Rover SD1 & in the main it ran fine. I've tried several different 4CU part numbers in my RR (used, off ebay) & all have been fine. Over the 27 ears I've had it I've had IIRC 3 ecus die so I'll bear out the comments about that particular ecu being troublesome.
He goes into some detail about the steering pack & the fuel pump relays:

Yes found that site it was where I got the info about the diodes and the resistor, looks like a good resource.

The beast lives! replaced all 3 diodes and the fusible resistor, fitted a new set of plugs and she fired up first turn of the key then settled to an idle with power to the fuel pump as it should be, success at last! So on with the next items on the to do list, I'm sure I'll be back before too long with more questions.
