Hi guys. What are the benefits of extended droplinks. I've a 2inch lift and I know +2 droplinks would put the roll bars in their original position but what are the actual benefits of this or cons of having the bar sit lower. The bar is designed to twist and lifting or lowering both sides together the bar is under no more or less strain?

Thanks in advance, Rob

With a 2 inch lift and standard ARBs, the top ARB link ball joint is normally working at a a slightly adverse angle.
Longer ARB links "correct" this, but potentially put the ARB into the floor if you can still achieve the standard full bump suspension stroke.

I've been running standard length ARBs for 10 years with a +2 inch lift (& ACE) and lots of extreme off-road use & my ARBs still last 2 ~ 3 years before they develop some play & none have ever failed in use.
I certainly won't be fitting longer ARB links on mine.

I’ve got a +2” lift with extended drop links for slightly more articulation.
I installed longer from LR3/Disco 3 drop links to the front of my D2 and my D2 front links that I previously removed were installed on my D2 rear.
