P38A Starter motor

Could anybody please suggest the best starter motor for my v8 Thor as mines fried need a new one

Any ideas greatly appreciated before I order one and find there’s a better one on the market

One that works and has a warranty were the thors not bosch electronics so may be one of them, but it normally comes down to price and what you can get.

Lucas one at £133+vat from Island looks ok.

Cheers will check out both the old one is marelli

They're cheap on the Bay and rarely fail so probably OK second hand. Diesel and v8 are different.

Got one ordered now cheers grrrrrr island 4x4 going to refund my old one aswell

That's positive. I've had issues with Island in the past. Maybe they've improved their customer service in the last few years.

Your right grrrr but they not been to bad with my orders over past couple of years since they went online only I believe they got bit better
