Disco 1 Dash Lights

Ok Heres one for you guys , I cannot find a solution on any forum.

Turn the ignition and the whats supposed to happen is the Handbrake comes on the Glow plug light the Battery light and the Oil Light. The Glow plug light goes off after a few seconds, Start the engine and the oil and Battery light go off after few seconds too.

So recently both at the same time my oil light and battery light do not come on at all.

I have checked the bulbs ;-)

I have replaced the dashboard binnacle with one from a friends car that I know all the lights and circuit board on the back of the binnacle works and still both lights don't come on using that one.

I can only assume its a wire that feeds both the lights on the binnacle. Has anyone got any ideas other than that, or know what colour wires I should be looking at that feeds these lights to the binnacle.

First off I would earth out the oil pressure switch to see if that brings on the light, obviously if it does then you need
A new switch,
If you remove the instrument panel and Mark the relevant bulb holders it very simple to follow the printed circuit back to the multi pin connector to see the correct colour code, you also have a couple of diodes on the back but if you changed for your mates panel it’s not going to be them,
