Over the last few days I've overhauled both rr brake calipers (seals guide pins/rubbers), EBC pads, Mintex discs, both ride height sensors & painted round them with a few coats of omnicote & truck bed spray. Replaced aux belt tensioner (Dayco) & belt (Gates).

I just looked out the window and mines not there! Buy the Mrs a nice msport bmw coupe with all the toys and she takes the disco to go get a loaf of bread!

Haha typical! I checked the headlining today just by the top of the windscreen....bone dry. This proves that its the seal at the top of the windscreen. Thankfully a tube of sikaflex and tiger seal turned up today!

Result if it's only the top seal, unlike mine which was the roof bar gasket & needed the roof lining removing .

SWMBO's D1 3 door passed the MOT, clean ticket :)

MOT man very impressed with the condition :) - 'specially liked the clutch servo .....;)

Sealed it all today, will put the hose over tomorrow and check! Seemed very little seal from the rubber gasket at the top of the windscreen so hopefully done the trick. Sealed all the roof bar points too. Fingers crossed.

Started the transfer case, and gearbox removal process. Need to replace the gearbox and clutch. Replacing numerous seals in the process.

After scouring other car forums and watching endless YouTube video reviews, I bought a TopDon BT200 battery tester ($70/£50) and a Klein Tools CL800 digital clamping meter ($90/£65).

I have the BT200 - very pleased with it - accurate on CCA, and quick for testing ripple voltage..... :)

The 24V compatibility is useful on plant, too :)

Decided to fit a Prc7925 water level sensor to my expansion tank on my Discovery 200tdi
You also need a mini relay (ISM12T) with a small buzzer, I wired to the redundant high temperature gearbox light
So it’s all integrated ,
