What did you do with your Range Rover today

It would look better if i could spray paint the parts, hopefully it will drive like new all 4 front radius arm bushes were shotthe inner sleave was not attached to the rubber so the arm were free to move side to side only mot late December:rolleyes:
i have the tool to push the bushes in which makes it a doddle, so if yours need doing give me a shout.

I suspect my rears probably need looking at. Did the fronts years ago.

Drove it the 20 mins each way to a diy store, first time on the road for about a month. Bought fuel, robbin gits, diesel €1.35 ltr. Gone up €0.20 since the last fill, that was about November though.

For that sort of thing I think you are better off brush painting, tend to get a thicker paint film on them, and it don't matter a toss if you get brush streaks does it.

And its cheaper and less wastefull with a brush so i will just carry on, might spray the antiroll bar as that was powdercoated.

just up the road from me is a TD6 L322 which has been for sale for around 2yrs it started at around £3000 it's been steadily sagging for months it is now on its bumpstops and the price too has sagged to £600 :D

I'm tempted.

Thats almost what i paid for mine motd and running.
Exactly a year ago tomorrow.
Wouldn't change the fact i bought that one.
Wouldn't hesitate to buy it again if i was put a year back in time and know everything i know now.
Even after the cost of a gearbox im still over the moon with it

Guessing i might as well replace all 3 and do both arms while I'm at it. Not hot a press, will i manage with a vice?

You will need to use jubbly clips or some such thing round the bush as the bush is 2mm bigger than the arm so they need to be forced smaller as they are pushed in, if you can get a tapered sleave made to push umm through

i nearly bought a second hand set of arms off ebay for £40 to refurb and fit and then would have a set of arms to refurb ready for someone else but i think the postage costs for the arms would not be cheap:(

2mm is huge! was that a typo? no way a jubilee clip will compress the outer metal sleeve of a bush? or do i need extra weetabix? :D
