Very very sad news. Wammers' expertise and 'to the point' comments were a huge benefit to this site and all the Landy Rover crowd. My sympathies go to all his family and friends.

Have just come back to LZ after a few years away, intending to get back on board. First thing I did was to look for Wammer’s posts. He helped me out so many times, same as everyone else. So sad, will be missed greatly. RIP Tony, best wishes to the family.

Such sad news, Wammers was always ready to help a relative newbie like me even though he didn’t need to
Condolences to his family and friends
Rest in peace fella

Very sad news, I always found his posts invaluable especially on p38 diesel engine jobs, never met him but sure seems like a real character with some of his comments! RIP sir.

I had a spar or two with him ,all that information lost ,so sad Condolences to his family and friends. At least there is no more pain for him and his family should realise how many share their grief. R I P Wammers,
