Hello everyone
First post of the year for me ! May 2021 bring everyone joy, happiness and health ! I am highly interested in purchasing a pair of NOS GENUINE Land Rover cylinder heads for the 3.5 V8 ! I would like the heads to have the 14 bolt pattern and to have been manufactured AFTER 1976 ! Lastly the part number is ERC215. If you have one in stock then i would like to let you know that I am interested even in a single one ! Let me know !;)
Cheers !

Turners can't be beat....

@APOSTOLOS You are welcome.
Why do you want 14 bolt heads? LR removed 4 in later model V8s as they contributed to distortion.
The late 3.9 & 4.2s had 10 bolt heads but even on the earlier 14 bolt heads you just don't torque the outer row down too much.
If I recall 14 bolt heads used tin gaskets and 10 bolt heads used composite gaskets. Both have the same cc combustion size when clamped to the same block. I'd check with Turners to be sure.

Thanks for the quick answer again ! I want the 14 bolt ones for no particular reason other than just originality. Regarding the distortion issue, i know that i must not tighten the outer 4 bolts to the specified torque but just tighten them up after having applied Loctite to around 20Nm. Thank you though for the advice ! Let me know in case you find any NOS heads that suit my requirements. Have a lovely night !

Whatever you find, consider buying Arp Studs as well. Much easier than stretch bolts to get right regardless of 10 or 14 per head. Search a lot for suppliers because they vary a lot in price. Part number is AZ510 (28 per set) or AZ510A (20 per set). Got mine from Real Steel West Drayton, but as you're in Greece try other suppliers.
