Very very pleased indeed !!

I am now compiling a list of jobs that I want to do within the next couple of weeks:

- oil and filter change (all fluids were topped up by the seller, just not sure when the fluids were replaced last)
- Radiator flush, change coolant, change bottom hose which seems v old and has a slight weep.
- fit a seat belt on center seat
- repair a big dent on the rear wing
- fix the left side rear view mirror that fell off the front wing (might need to use metal epoxy and fix w bigger washers)
- proper clean up of the cabin - full of dust and grime and a bit of surface rust.
- bolt down the rear benches in the cab... might buy new ones all together as the existing ones are super shabby.

That’s probably enough for now... more than I have ever done on any car combined ever before. I will be proud of myself if I can do that myself.

More to come soon

ha ha ha
I meant “paint”... it’s a little flaky... so I need to sand the car down and repaint... I was wondering whether I should keep it bronze green, or go for a change of colour...

I am not in love with the military vibe associated w bronze green, but on the other a colour change is a PITA if I want to do a nice job - without mentioning green is an iconic LR colour... decision decision...

I made a list of jobs to do when I first got my S3 about 5 or 6 years ago, I'm still working my way through it. You will find the list gets longer and longer.

Col

Had mine since 2006 and even thoughI did a rebuild in 2010 with new galvanised chassis and bulkhead I am still working on it done a canny few miles in the meantime.
