Hi all,

So while fitting a new fuel filter I was removing the metal wire clip that holds the electrical connection to the fuel/wate sensor.

This pinged off with such force that bounced off my dumbfounded face and ricochet’d into the gravel I was working on. It's now totally gone and I can't find it at all. The picture below is for the airbox but the metal clip is a similar design.

So where would I find a replacement? I don't even really know what to google. Can anyone help?

Also bonus picture, what is currently holding the clip on.

Surely a magnet trawled through the gravel would get it found?
Yep, I’ve got a magnet ‘onna stick which I dragged though the gravel for longer than I want to admit. Still couldn’t find the thing.

I would have been slightly happier if it had stuck in my forehead than losing it!

If the EGR is bypassed you should find something similar on the solenoid's plug which is supposed to be unused, and yes keep in mind for the future that these are supposed to be pushed not removed

Gravel is a real sod.
I once lost my security wheel bolt socket. and out gravel isn't pea gravel think Chesil beach. It is over scalpings so raked it all up, sieved it as best as, etc etc.
Had to go off and buy another one.:mad::mad:
Then two or three years later i was working on a vehicle close by and there the bugre was. Grinning at me.
At least I have two now:D

Same thing happened to mine when changing fuel filter. Searched for ages but couldn't find it so just refitted connector without clip. It stays in place fine. About 18months later my son found it on the drive so I refitted then, lol.
You might find it at a later date too.

No EGR Bypass yet but it's in the pipeline (this seems like a good excuse!) . I was looking at the Allisport one but I'll take suggestions if you have a recommendation?

AFAIK, those type of connectors are called Junior Power Timer connectors. They are cheap so you might want to buy the entire connector and just use the spring clip.

Second question, its holding nothing... the cable ties are on wrong if you want to use them to keep the clips in place....
