Hello to all , hope all of you are well and safe.
My car has some noises on the front I have replaced both drop links, because it sounded like a failed drop link. the truth is the front passenger clunk is still there. its strange because when is a failed drop link its clunks almost in any bump or hole. This one is very loud and depends some times it doesn't clunk on a speed bump but it will clunk on small hole. I had the car jacked up and with a crowbar I try to see if I could find some movements but I didn't.
I know it can be many things, Like the bearing top of strut, it can be the rubbers on the stabilizer bar, but all that looks fine, I just don't want to start replacing parts left and right.
If you guys have any experience's could you share.

Another strange thing is a sound that comes from the front it sound like an aerodynamic vent imagine the wind whistle through a front grille almost like something is open and the wind comes trough. I cant find where it comes from???!!!!

I know the most difficult its to fix and evaluate noises but I will try to make a video
Many Thanks

Check the large rear wishbone bush for cracking or deterioration.
That bush is responsible for damping the suspension over the small amplitude, sharp impacts.

When I lift the car I rocked it with the bar and it looks fine. Visually looks good .
I tried the radio approach. that is one of my other things only one speaker plays so not enough the cover the noise...lol

Its strange I did the 3 and 9 movement there isn't nay on the right wheel . The driver side there is a tiny movement on the track rod. But from the drivers side there isn't any clunk.
And the noise of the wind its also very frustrating I cant trace it

I couldn't detect any play either but, there was nothing else to change and changing out the steering ends (the ball joints only not entire rod) sorted the clunk. From what I can remember the play was up and down and not side to side on them...and not that you would notice either.

I had an odd knock from the front passenger side and tried replacing everything to fix it - wishbone (including bushes), drop link and TRE.
Turned out it was the strut but thankfully I had another car I could swap bits from so it didn't cost me too much. :)
Just hours of pain. :(
