Well it is a landrover product
i nearly had to get mine recovered last week but fortunately was able to leave it in my brothers works car park till i could fix it

nope its what the mot tester called the arm from the steering rack to the ball joint, does look like a rusty lollipop now its off

Those pipes sound good with the silencers my old L32 had straight pipes and it sounded shyte.
