Sounded like some bit of kit shame you never got a go. I did ask about to see if anyone
wants rid of a lathe, but I can get free use of a newish lathe an milling machine any time I want.

One does occasionally see a bloke who looks like he has a ramrod for a spine, I sometimes think he was given a Viagra and thought it was a suppository.

This is the cause of mi knackerederereredness as I got one side done.,

Got a good bit done today, now working on the 2nd gate whilst the glue is drying on the other one
pic is of the inside, the customer now wants a small pedestrian gate so the chainsaw will be fired up
first thing tomorrow morning to chop up the 5 meter planks. Oh the neighbours will love me.

Very nice. I am suitably jealous (of course).
My little "Toy Machine" is still in the "does this thing actually work" phase.
Some tool-holders turned up today and a bit of bronze rod actually got faced and turned down a tiny bit. I found a few problems just with this simple stuff and the gibs are tighter now but at the expense of ease of travel.
Still learning & getting used to the machine.
Best bit? My home-grown belt change & adjustment is working well and no transmission issues.

Cheers, it is to cut the teeth into a 6tpi follower gear. I will post pics of the milling machine along with rotary table setup tomorrow if I get some time in the workshop
