Hi There,
Apologies if this is in the wrong place. This is my first ever post.
I'm considering buying a project P38. There is one locally which is complete with an MOT but not in use as it has a gearbox fault. The owner describes the fault as unable to drive in high range. The fault happened suddenly and he drove it home in low range.
There are no warnings on the dashboard and the vehicle only moves in low range.
Do I steer clear? Or might this be fixable without spending the GDP of a developing nation.
Thanks in advance.

Hello and welcome :)
if it drives in low range the how can it be gearbox more than lightly its the transferbox motor, they have a habit of sizing up through lack of use, but he must of selected low, you can take the motor off and move it manualy
