Never had a need for it before but I need to do a patch on my chassis.
Have seen both zinc and copper versions, any recommendations? I see a few cans on ebay/Amazon including a upol one.
Only got this 1 job for it so don't want to buy too much.
 
Just done a quick google and it seems none of them survive welding anyway. There is an access hole very near where I will be welding but thought it may save me some effort in coating the inside before the job
 
Can highly recommend the Upol weld through zinc primer - does what it say on the tin + can be used as std zinc primer. It's provides an excellent thin film, I find 2-3 light coats post weld/rework works best + never have rust come through post use.
 
Have we all got shares in U-Pol?

Have been using their products for years. The best thing about them is that they're always inter-product stable, there's never a reaction. I wonder how many customers they have worldwide...?? Off now to look at share price...
