Morning All
It has been a very, very rainy night.
So much so that the rain has breached the defenses of the new front windows and water is running down the wall below the bay window.
I only ever does this when the rain is arriving from that side of the house and is heavy & persistent.
Investigation is required, but NOT while it is raining so heavily.
Eye test etc. @ 11:45 so some breakfast is in order.

We used to have a pond made of sleepers and plastic sheet. It worked well for a long, long time. And a founting and everything. Humungous gold fish too.It took us four years to get rid of that very invasive stuff.
Came back to find it had sprung a leak, last November. We suspect the bamboo Wifey planted behind it ages ago.

Well!
First off, got a Podiatrist appointment, (Not been to one for 20 years odd.)
(used to be a chiropodist).
(I used to be a teacher then for a while became an "enabler", no more pay!)
Got the French houses insurance premium, 12.5% increase FFS!
So rang them and after about a minute of silence it mysteriously dropped to only one euro more than last year!
No explanation, and they are a friendly bunch, so saved about 50€! Result!
