Just watched the village fireworks going off, and here it is, another year to get through hope it’s a better one for us all.

Normally i am pyro crew for a mates firework company tonight instead missus and me are in front of TV with Jools Holland listening to bloody firework amateurs who cant even tell the time 2 mins early FFS or 5 mins late,...

May all your landy projects go well and 2021 is the year where we all get out more...

Am amazed to read you only use the dishwasher a few times a year. even with only the two of us we use ours all the time and hate it when we have to hand wash anything.
When I had to choose between fitting the dishwasher or the washing machine on moving into a new house with the ex, we both looked at each other and said "dishwasher" without thinking. No brainer. Even though it meant we had to take the clothes to the laundrette once a week!
Till I remodelled the kitchen to take both.

Don't think anyone round here has a watch. We've had the wretched things going off, sporadically since 10 O'clock.
We were going to have Champers, a roast dinner etc etc.
But Wifey developed one of her anxiety driven bad stomachs so we ate bugreall except I ate a huge pack of crisps and some chocolates while drinking beer, then gin, then Laphroaigh (can never spell it), then got a headache, then tea and water.
Happy New Year everyone.
(Oh and learned today a friend of ours now has breast cancer, life is a bowl of cherries isn't it?)
