Freelander 1 We seem to have a vibration 2006 td4

I was aware of the tyre concerns and put new on the rear. The front had plenty of tread on them so i assumed it was safe to do so.
 
So what's the thinking on getting it repaired with either second hand parts or refurbished? Surely that would bring the price down dramatically
 
Yes if you can get a garage to do that or do it yourself.
Have you tried removing the prop shaft yet to see if it still goes. It is a simple job you can do with a 1/4" socket set and a couple of spanners. (I use an 8mm socket to hold the torx bolts while I loosen the nut with a spanner.)
 
I have a garage that will do that. The parts come with 30 day warranty too. I really wouldn't trust myself anywhere near anything mechanical. Even the simplest of tasks are hard. Thanks anyway
