I have had a great time fixing my lathe so it is all ready for me to start on the steam engine castings the wife got me for Christmas
Sadly it will probably be in the new year as we are starting on clearing the garden and fixing the fence tomorrow, apparently

Thought it was meant to be lockdown ffs I drove through Helensburgh people everywhere
Maybe its cause I dont see loads of people everyday.
Few pics from today.. 4 lovely lady's in swimming had a chat with them, one on the shore she
was freezing she had no gloves or boots ffs mental at least they had a fire pit burning.

I had to get fuel & Helensburgh was in tier 2 before the 26Th & Balloch was in a tier 4.
The fuel at Arrochar is a fortune I only use that if im stuck.

Can anyone hazard a guess if I can get 130 slate roof tiles in the back of an estate car. 450x250x 3/8” no idea of weight. Job lot too good to miss. I had 50 house bricks in the boot last month, estimate that at 100kg plus so what dya think?

They are less than 2kgs each so only the same as 2 fat chaps. Stand on edge so they don’t compress & break

I work on the basis of a cubic metre of stone weighs about 2.2 tonne. So your 130 tiles will weigh in at about 320 kilos. So 2 fat blokes --- very fat ones

Eye as bin food choppin un picked up me winda vac from screwfix. Charged it. Just need er wet winda ter test it now. Eye bin lukkin ut loft insulayshun terday ont web. How ter fit un how much. Snowed ferran hour but it din't settul as ground be wet. Tis kin cold oat.
