Hi all, new to this site, just wondering if anybody attended the show at Driffield a few weeks ago on the Saturday. I went on the Sunday, payed the entrance fee at 11am had a walk round and went back to the car for lunch, had grand kids with us. We went back into the grounds and everyone was packing up at 1pm. Tried to get some parts but most were either completely packed up and gone or in the process. They missed having the show at Driffield for four years, so if they are going to charge £15 for admission for three hours it won’t last. Was Saturday the same.

I know this is a very old thread but thought Id stick my two pennorth in. I went to the same show mentioned ans was a bit disappointed. It was advertised as #15 to get in and we were charged #16 each. Nevertheless we paid it with grumbles and went in. After a walk round I was hungry so went to one of thee burgher vans and it wasn't til I only got a pound change out of a tenner that I realised I had been charged nine pounds for a cheeseburgher and a tea. Will take my own snap in future if I go again.

It’s a shame as we lack Landrover shows in the north. What happened to all the auto jumbles that used to be held just for Landrover. I used to sell excess parts when I was doing my rebuild but got priced out by the cost of the stands.
