the LED's say they are "Dimmable" (is that a word?). Not got any dimmer switches yet but that is quickly remedied.

not all dimmer switches do LED they often have a minimum wattage they will work at, they sometimes will work but will hum

Ahhhh didn't know that. My Sparky friend should be able to tell me. He did say it is getting more difficult to get anything Non-LED nowadays as they are becoming the lighting standard for domestic use.

Tape the lights to the ceiling and do a temp wire up to see how many yer need and where. Yer could also spread thems across two or more switches so when yer gets up int nite ferra drink of lemonade frompt fridge, yer can put minimal lights ont so as not ter wake yerself up.

Eye as bin lukkin ut me injis. Where they loop back ont themselves yer put the big bolt frew which clamps it all ter me door. Eye as noticed sum blobs of metul int there witch need chopped oft or they wunt clamp flat. Eye fink eye will clamp me angle grinder secure un offa each won up territ to chop the bits oft. Then vantan em.
