What did you do with your Range Rover today

Not necessarily as we discovered today, have a look around on today's threads, it is possible to repair sidewall damage and it's legal and everything as long as no cords were damaged, especially on more off-roady type tyres.
Crossed fingers for you.:)
Thanks @Stanleysteamer, I've ordered a new one and if it can be repaired I'll end up a repaired recent spare. We use the 38' on road trips for camping and so on, so tyres are my most anal part on the car... Wait for it!!
As you know 2.25t of I know where's it headed is a nice feeling. I'll get it repaired if I can. Cheers matey ;)

Even after my 6 month 'Boris Bonus' we were due an MOT last week. I have always believed in presenting the car in clean condition above and below with particular attention to brake lines and joints etc. Grease, Waxoyl, even some old oil can help to make the right impression. It's a good feeling to come away from the test station with a new 'ticket,' 'specially if it is free of advisories!
Good timing too, because the week before I had my first ever windscreen breakage whilst on the road. Not bad for 50 years motoring I suppose. The people at Flux' handled the claim really well - Green tint, heated? no problem sir! Happy days.

Had it for a while, a new clutch and oil change has seen it into daily service, keeps the mileage off the RR.
A damn sight better to bash around work than the old P38 :D

Weirdly it only does 20mpg, not a very economical unit these 2500 12v, handy pickup though ;)

Interior is tighter than a nuns backside.

And the old motor has less grunt than a bipolar Midget

good times!

Took the rear prop off and after giving the uj's and the slider the good news with the grease gun replaced it with the slider at the transfer box end. Don't know why but I saw it was that way in the workshop manual, new bolts and nuts as well. Did the front prop couple of weeks ago.

Where’s the Disco gone has it been promoted from daily to keeper?
Disco Shattered its Flexplate and the Turbo is on its last legs + Injector O rings..

And being an Auto TD5 it was hella slow and VERY thirsty, 18mpg average for a diesel. ;)

I'm currently using it as a shed...

Still in stellar nick body wise and chassis..

Just need time and moolah to fix it. neither of which I have

Mint inside and everything works/worked ;)

Great thing to drive I do miss having it on the road.

Wtf is that parked next to it o_O

It’s done good service whilst Fudge had a break. Lookin much betterer than when you first had it. Petty you didn’t have R380 they are RRDT proof tow anything
If memory serves me "which is usually doesn't" It was an Austin 7 Roadster ;)
The flexplate breaking was bound to happen with me shunting over 4 ton loads around the farm, the autobox is still in just mint shape with 190k it still goes well.
The plate actually broke when I overtook a cyclist, I heard it brake lol
