Snide ecu in my Td5

Hi all. Put my new (to me ) Td5 90 in to the shop to get it checked over and mentioned a faulty temperature gauge. Turns out it’s got a Disco ecu! The guys tell me it is reasonably common. It all works apart from the temperature gauge, which reads erratically. They tell me that they have never found a work around. I want to avoid getting a new ecu if I can. Anyone any ideas?

The workaround is load the correct map onto the ECU.

Thanks Tom1979. I think they tried that, but I’ll get them to speak to a mapper for more info.

The early MSB ecu's are a bit more awkward but the later NNN ecu's should be pretty straightforward. If you need any help feel free to send me a PM.
