Thankfully injectors got a clean bill of health.
They seem to think they weren't seated properly.
So a little bit of good news for a change.

So to update...
Injectors tested and all okay.new washers and o-rings fitted.
Starts first time no issues.

But here's the issue it still smokes and still feels lacking power.
Revs fine but smokey at stand still but when driving smoking and underpowered and to be honest bit rattley.
When I had the injectors out I changed the rocker gasket for a decent one as the old one was a bit naff and the front cam is dry of oil and a little surface rust but rear is healthy looking?
Any other thoughts folks as I'm stuck...

It had been stood for about a year when I bought it.
Crankcase filter was blocked when I got it.thats been changed new oil ,filter etc.
I guess it could have done a fair bit of damage by now?as previous owner took it of the road due to smoke.
So engine swap, how difficult?is whitworth it..

No, mostly metric nuts and bolts!!

See EV thread for quick way to remove the lot but not sure what you are planning or what your diagnosis is!?!?
Well basically noisy smokey engine that on inspection has a dry rusty front cam but rear is fine.previous owner took it off the road due to it being a bit smokey.
New oil, filter, crankcase breather, rocker gasket, injectors tested and refurbed and just feel that it might be easier to just swap the motor for a good one and be done with it.
