Just had a quote of (make sure you are sat down) over £3500 for a factory standard Disco 3 SE from Adrian Flux, my current insurer LV have managed £800 and Go Skippy have managed to get to £733.06
Make sure you shop around for the best price.

I swear by Evergreen Insurance Services https://evergreeninsuranceservices.co.uk/

My D2 with mods comes at just £189 a year, fully comp, although it has a limited mileage of 5k. Still, it doesn't go up that much if I increase my annual mileage. My last renewal, I shopped around and was also getting the silly quotes of around £2k, and with me aged 44. Insane!!!!

I am 35 with 10 years NCB, clean license.
In the end I have gone with GoSkippy who gave me Fully Comp with all the bells and whistles for £581 once I actually gave them all the correct details via their website no Compare the Monkey at.

The main differences in quotations are.
Is it a completely new policy.? if it is they will stick it to you.
If you are replacing a vehicle which has an existing policy, keep that policy and just change the vehicle details and carry your no claims forward.
or Add a vehicle to any existing policy. It worked for me anyway. 3000 plus for new. 485 to replace.
