Hi If anyone could help or advise me please it would be great, I have had a good look on the forum and tried a 2006 key re-sync but it doesn't seem to work. I bought a new key enclosure as mine started falling apart when i used it, everything worked fine and then the central locking stopped working from the fob, I opened it up checked everything put it back together and it started to work again. Then it stopped working again so did the same thing, on getting back in the car everything lights up like a Christmas tree, there are transmission and abs faults but the car drives absolutely fine. I read this could be caused by the key sync and have tried doing the 2006 key sync but it doesn't seem to work. I just wondered if there was a different method for a 2008 or am I just being stupid when trying to do it? If anyone has any advice on this it would be great? Thanks Paul

You don't have a boot full of water by any chance do you?
The later L322's can suffer from humidity in the rear end where some of the Ecu's are stored and can suffer from electrical issues. Not to say this is your case but maybe a look would rule that one out?

Hi Mark, I don't think so but will look in the morning,It was just strange it happened after I opened the key and put it back together with the car only being stood for an hour. Zero to 40 warning lights. Thanks for taking the time to give me advice!

Your welcome, good call on the cars battery, what happens if you use the old key casing?

Listen to the words of wisdom!
1. Battery voltage & Cable connections.
2. Water!
3. Key Fob.
I say this because at the weekend my son and I washed the Range. Came time to start it and would not release steering, then when did every single lamp on the dash, headlamp flash, no ignition etc etc. My son mentioned the interior lights flickering earlier, I noticed this as well when checking the battery neg (I was recharging the 20% battery, don't know why so low) the negative terminal was loose. Tightened, recharged and everything back to normal like magic.
I then noticed the key fob only worked stood next to the car so bot out the spare and sorted. Now need new fob battery.
Moral of the story - Range L322, battery? Water? Then everything else.
Let us know how you get on, Trickey.
