Well I was just about ready to go to bed when I sat down to check my emails and discovered my bruv, who lost his wife in about February time, has now found out he's got bowel cancer.
FFS.
He really doesn't deserve this sh!t.
I am so angry and upset for him.
I know it is common nowadays and he'll prolly be OK in the end, but life does sometimes know how to kick people in the guts when they are already down.
Makes any problems I have pale into insignificance.
Anyway. Tomorrow is another day!
Nite all!;)

So sorry to hear of your poor brothers health problem.
Hopefully they can do something to help him immediately.
Chin-up (you and him both).
Best wishes. Dan.

Thanks Dan.
After a calmer read of his mail I can see that they have probably caught it early-ish and I think that means he has a much better chance of recovery.
His son is being a rock.
Can't see him till we get back from Frogland, do our quarantine, and then look at whether Hull is going to be locked down or indeed where we are in Dorset, which is a bit less likely.
But thanks very much for your wishes!

One for those of you preparing or eating Sunday roast.
This is what one wifey got when her husband asked if he could help.

This morning I set one hundred million nemesis toads into me lawn. They is now busy lunching on the chafer grubs which hopefully will now stop scoffing me grass roots. I am now officially a green gardener, although when I looked in the mirror I still looked pink. And a sparrer hawk knicked a goldfinch for his lunch, wasn't bothered that I was watching him

Always forget how much heat our blessed woodburner chucks out, am now sat in my shorts and nowt else sweating!! and still haven't burnt even a 1 metre log!
