Defender TD5 LT230 High/Low - limiting my speed?

Well, standard turbo running the VNT map and limited to 1.5 bar goes like f**k and I only backed off at 90 for the egt’s. I think my choice of VNT was the problem and it just gives all its power early on. Pulls hard right through the rev range now

Nearly a year on and the VNT is still sat on the shelf. We even tried it on another vehicle and it lasted 3 hours before being swapped to a standard turbo. No assistance from Storm at all, just said he didnt make anything on the VNT and it couldnt have been any cheaper unless he'd stuffed it with £20 notes. So it seems the £700 it cost is irrelevant

Currently running the standard turbo still but with a different (and heavy) fuel map.

Not really great though!

Where you based? Id speak to Empire Tuning, Gareth had my VNT built and set up and its flawless!

I've got something else in the pipeline! Have heard good things about Gareth. He's being going a few years now, I did think he was just using the JE Engineering maps but he seems to be doing well. There's another bloke working for him now too, also mobile.

Seeing as he used to write the JE maps...
